The proof of happy endings
Vada broke up with Holden. Holden hurt her before while he swallowed to align his chemical imbalance. Burned his throat to see more clearly, or to not see at all. No one could really tell, they just knew he did it, and helped him with it. They're all doctors, self medication has always been the best method. So, the story goes on. (what the fuck am I talking about?)
Vada couldn't deal with holden's drinking. She was just too scared, and scarred. So, its one or the other she would say. He drank That same night. Obviously he isn't in love. Hasn't been, never was, never proved it.
"Can you hear me!!! Did you fucking hear what I said!?"
broken. Sentences. Fragments. Coughs. Cries.
"I cant love you like you need me too. I want it, but I cant do it. I want it so bad, I cant do it. I just cant do it"
here rage shifts to softness. Anyone walking by knows what's happened. Its a silent bomb. Interal, you know.
"so, what's it going to be. You've always called the shots."
tears. tears. Headache, tight forehead. Tears
"you know what this is"
"I have to go"
